Synopsis
The United States Air Force, ALFCMC/PZICC, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio 45433-5344 publishes this notice of intent to award a sole source contract for informational purposes only. Wright Patterson AFB has a requirement for a cloud-based, digital, Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) and Emergency Fire Dispatch (EFD) guidecard system, including training course, instructor course, training materials, locally configured guidecards, certifications upon completion of the courses and program implementation and training support for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, in accordance with the Statement of Work and the National Standard Curriculum for EMD and applicable American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) International standards. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.1036-1(b)(1).
This proposed procurement will be a Sole Source under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 561421 - Telephone Answering Services, (PSC) R429 - Support - Professional: Emergency Response Support. Business size standard: $19.0M.
The proposed source is Association of Public-Safety-Communications Officials (APCO) International, Inc, Cage/DUNS code 1YKK2. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract regardless of responses that may be received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, quotation, or exception to the intent to purchase on a sole source basis, which shall be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
