Description
The Portland VA Medical Center has a failed emergency lighting inverter that supports numerous 4D Operating Rooms, including 41, 42, 43, and 44. These operating rooms are critical for patient care procedures and surgeries. During a power outage the lighting inverter supplies continuous power to designated light fixtures, and without the lighting inverter a power outage would cause all the lighting to stop working for up to 10 seconds or until the emergency generators provide power. A lapse in power could cause disruption to patient care. The scope of this contract is to procure the power inverter timely, so that Portland VA FMS (Facilities Management Service) can install it as soon as possible to avoid any disruptions to patient care from a potential power outage. Specific Requirements. Provide and deliver (1) lighting inverter and (1) mounting supplies with the following specifics: Part #: 6-FTEM-3-S-BD (20-04)-2YW, Type: SINGLE PHASE 2.2KVA INVERTER. Mounting supplies: IF Floor mount with seismic to floor mounting. The following lighting inverter specifications are required: 2.2 KW emergency lighting inverter277 volt 1 phase, 60 Hz input and output4 individual output breakersTransfer Time: 2 milliseconds to and from batteryUL listed to UL 924Meets NFPA 101, NFPA 70, OSHANAICS CODE WAIVER UNDER NAICS 335132
