The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) herein issuance solicitation for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled “Emergency Replace B-Unit Chiller” at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC Alderson), located in Alderson, West Virginia.
FPC Alderson is a federal prison camp facility located at Glen Ray Road, Alderson, WV 24910. The work to be performed in association with this project includes the following scope:
“Emergency Replace B-Unit Chiller”
The successful contractor shall provide labor, equipment, parts, materials and supplies to provide the following:
Remove the existing McQuay Chillers (Asset# B-CHIL-1-ALD, Model AGZ110BS12-ER11, 110-ton, Serial # STNU050400073; Asset# B-CHIL-2-ALD, Model AGZ110BS12-ER11, 40-ton, Serial # STNU050400074) and replace them with two (2) new chillers that have equal to or greater cooling capacity and efficiency. See attached Specifications for complete details.

Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $500,000 and $1,000,000. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range).
