- The Town of Wardsboro, Vermont, in collaboration with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), is seeking bids for slope repair and stream channel restoration for erosion control and flood mitigation measures at 4123/4153 Route 100 on the Wardsboro Brook under the Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) program. Project plans may be obtained by contacting the town office at 896-6055. Interested bidders should be able to complete the project during the current construction season while complying with state regulations for work in streams. A mandatory site visit will be held on Thursday, September 18th. Please meet at the town office at 8 am. Please include proof of insurance with bid. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Town of Wardsboro, 71 Main St., PO Box 48, Wardsboro, VT 05355 by 5 pm, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, and marked “EWP bid.”
