- International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank, offers a diverse array of Advisory Services that complement its investment activities. IFC-s climate and resource (energy-water materials) efficiency advisory under its Manufacturing Agribusiness and Services (MAS) Division offers a range of services to clients that leverage IFC-s in-house global and regional expertise to ensure that clients are able to improve their operations in line with best practices. Globally, IFC has developed a successful track record by helping companies improve their use of energy, water, and materials, resulting in improved bottom line: lower costs, less waste and effluents, and reduced greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions. The Pharma Resource Efficiency (Pharma REF) Program in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) aims to support pharmaceutical manufacturing clients enhancing efficiency and productivity, leading to cost reductions and a smaller carbon and water footprint. This assignment will provide in-depth advisory services focusing on energy and water efficiency. The main objective is to identify cost-saving opportunities related to energy, water, and material efficiency, and to improve waste management, resulting in a comprehensive resource efficiency improvement plan.
