Description:
The Puerto Rico Public Housing Administration, (PRPHA) seeks proposals from qualified, licensed, and bonded entities to provide a Physical Needs Assessment and Energy Audit in selected PRPHA properties. Energy Audit with Physical Need Assessment proposals must be submitted for 150 Public Housing Projects. PRPHA's has with 53,932 housing rentals units divided among ten (10) private housing administrators in daily maintenance and operation of housing projects. The mission of PRPHA is to create and maintain sustainable, affordable housing opportunities, provide pathways to a better quality of life, and empower communities with low-income and very low-income families.HUD regulations require the PHA to undertake a Physical Needs Assessment (PNA) and an Energy Audit (EA) once every five (5) years. Shortly, HUD is expected to require that the PNA be expanded to integrate with an EA, and it will be required to be performed using HUD's PNA tool software, also known as the “PNA tool."
