ENG 25-13 MLK EQUALITY TRAIL RECONSTRUCTION FROM WEATHERWAX DRIVE TO OPTIMIST SHELTERProject:0.76 miles of non-motorized trail reconstruction with concrete pavement along the MLK Equality Trail between Weatherwax Drive and Optimist Shelter in the City of Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan. Major bid items include: Clearing - 1.84 acres, HMA Surface, Rem, modified - 3,777 syd, Aggregate Base, 6 inch, 21AA Modified - 5,309 syd, Shared Use Path, Conc - 5,257 syd, shared use path grading - 3,978 feet, Turf Establishment, Performance - 14,391 syd.This project is funded, in part, by a Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF) grant. As such, construction shall be completed in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal codes, as amended; including but not limited to: Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 2010, as amended (federal); Access Boards Final Guidelines for Outdoor Developed Areas (federal); Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act, Act 220 of 1976, as amended (state); Playground Equipment Safety Act, P.A. 16 of 1997, as amended (state); the Utilization of Public Facilities by Physically Limited Act, P.A. 1 of 1966, as amended; the Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act, Act 453 of 1976, as amended (state); Executive Directive 2019-09, as amended (state).
