Requirements Description: The proposed action is to award a new contract for Engine, Diesel with Containers. Theses items are sourcecontrolled items to Renk America, LLC (CAGE Code: 02978) and BAE Systems Land and Armaments (CAGE: 06085). The Government does not have the pertinent technical data including additional detailed drawings for these items or dimensions for its manufacturing necessary for competitive procurement. Renk America, LLC and BAE Systems Land and Armaments are the only sources that have the requisite technical and engineering expertise to perform all efforts required to provide Engine, Diesel with Containers that meet design space requirements and Critical Item Product Function Specification for Engine, Diesel with Containers.
