1. This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole sourcecontract to Nelson Global Products. The requirement to procure two engine exhaust silencerswith hospital grade 15-42 dB attenuation (exact fit) with four 14” ANSI flange gasket kits,and two rain caps that are 14” ID, carbon steel, and high heat -resistant paint to matchsilencer.The proposed contract action is to procure the specific service for which the Government intendsto solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.Interested parties may submit unclassified responses to this notice by email to Ryan Wang atryan.wang.1@us.af.mil and Ms. Eva Leavitt at eva.leavitt@us.af.mil no later than 07 March2025 @ 1400 EST. No other communications will be entertained. This is not a Request forProposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB); The Air Force does not intend to award a contract onthe basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information to be solicited. Although“proposal” and “offeror” are used in this Presolicitation, your responses will be treated asinformation only. It shall not be used as a proposal. We anticipate a sole source procurementIAW 10 U.S.C. 2304.
