Description:
Engineering services for adding new wells, ground storage tanks, and transmission water mains to Gretna and Hexam Water Treatment Plants (WTP):Gretna WTP consists of three (3) existing wells with a high service pump station and a 2-million-gallon ground storage tank. Current plans are to add an additional well, a 2-million-gallon ground storage tank, and to also install a new 16\" water transmission main that will connect to the existing water distribution system on Spring Hill Drive.Hexam WTP consists of two (2) existing wells with a high service pump station and a 2-million-gallon ground storage tank. Current plans are to add four (4) additional wells via a raw water transmission main, extending to existing County owned properties north of Centralia Rd.Professional consultant services may be required for design, permitting, disinfection processes, structural, electrical, mechanical, hydrogeological, all necessary appurtenant assets, site work, landscaping, construction engineering inspection, and generation of record drawings.Construction administration services to include inspections, certifications, and act as Engineer of Record.Other improvements may be added depending on the engineering evaluation determined during the design process.
