- The Town of Huntington (Municipality) is requesting proposals for engineering services for a project to construct a new bridge (see scope of work) funded in part by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Vermont Department of Public Safety, and the Municipality.The Town of Huntington experienced damage to existing infrastructure from the July 2024 storm. Bridge #35 sustained significant damage and washout. Emergency repairs have been made, and the structure is now open. However, an initial hydraulic study done by the State of Vermont indicated that the existing structure does not meet the State stream equilibrium standards for bankfull width.Please reach out to Adam Argo to request bid documents.
