- Pierce County will select a qualified consultant who is qualified in providing Environmental Support Services for Pierce County-s 112th St. E. (A to 18th) project, County Road Project (CRP) No. 5686 (the project). The project proposes to widen 112th St. E. to add a center turn lane, paved shoulders, cement concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, and bike lanes. Improvements will include street lighting, ο¬ber optic interconnect, an enclosed storm drainage conveyance system, storm drainage treatment facilities, ο¬sh-passable culvert underpasses, and reconstruction of the existing traο¬c signal systems at Golden Given Rd. E. and 18th Ave. E.Selection shall be based on qualifications where price is not a factor in compliance with the requirements of 49 USC Β§ 47107(a) (17) and 2 CFR Β§200.320, as amended. Qualifications based procedures require that a contract for Architectural/Engineering (A/E) Services be awarded pursuant to a fair and open selection process based on the qualifications of the firms.
