Description
This is a limited sources justification, pursuant to the requirements of FAR 8.405-6, Limiting Sources under Federal Supply Schedules under the authority of the Multiple-Award Schedule Program.
1. Agency:

2. Nature and/or description of the action:The Cincinnati Acquisition Division intends to award an extension of the bridge contractvia modification to a General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule (Federal SupplySchedule) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) task order. EPA intends to issue an extension to theexisting armed security guard bridge contract issued to Diversified ProtectionCorporation (DPC). The extension will be for an additional three (3) months of serviceswith three one-month options as described in Paragraph 3 while the next iteration of thisrequirement is competed on GSA Schedules, in accordance with FAR Part 8. The periodof performance for the current task order (GS-07F-120GA / 68HE0C18F0866) expiresApril 30, 2025. This modification will extend the period of performance end date to July31, 2025, with three one-month options potentially extending the period of performanceto October 31, 2025.
3. A description of the supplies or services required to meet the agency-s needs(including the estimated value):The contractor shall provide armed staff and security support services 24 hours perday, 7 days a week for all eight US EPA locations in Cincinnati, OH and NorthernKentucky. In addition, the contractor shall manage the EPA Security Program. Thecontractor shall assess threats and vulnerabilities through risk analysis and determinethe required level of security necessary to provide oversight for physical securityprograms at multiple locations with a variety of operational functions.
