- Description:
- The Town of Colchester is requesting bids for a stormwater project at Midnight Pass and Everbreeze Drive in Colchester, VT. The project will include the installation of three separate subsurface stormwater treatment chamber systems. Two will be installed under the roadway surface on Everbreeze Drive and one will be installed under a grassed area on Midnight Pass. Additional project tasks include the installation of underground piping, catch basins, and rock outlet protection. The contractor is expected to repave sections of disturbed roadway, and reestablish topsoil and vegetation where disturbed. Bids will be received by: Alex Kubala, Public Works Engineer, Town of Colchester, 781 Blakely Road, Colchester, VT 05446 until 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Attendance of the bid opening is not required. Each BID must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the OWNER for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. A BID bond may be used in lieu of a certified check. A Performance BOND and a Payment BOND each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. (40 CFR §31.36(h)) A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for prospective bidders will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. This meeting will be held via Zoom at the following link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/87542239785. Questions regarding the Bid are due by 2:00PM on Tuesday June 17, 2025. All bidders must notify Alex Kubala at akubala@colchestervt.gov of their intent to bid so they can be placed on a Bidders List to receive any issued addenda or other pertinent information.
