This synopsis is ONLY A NOTIFICATION that a solicitation will be issued.CONTRACT INFORMATION: This announcement is total small business acquisition to provide Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) - Kanawha County Streambank Stabilization Project, West Virginia.Total Small Business set-aside.Place of Performance: Kanawha County, West VirginiaThe North American Industrial Classification System code is 237990, which has a size standard of $45 million. A firm fixed-price contract is anticipated under Sealed Bidding procedures FAR Part 14. The contract is anticipated to be awarded in July 2025. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/. No state level certifications will be accepted.PROJECT INFORMATION: The estimated magnitude for this contract is between $250,000 and $500,000. The work consists of correcting severe streambank erosion along 2 & 3 Quarter Mile Creek in Kanawha County, WV during the April 2 & 3, 2024 rainfall event. This erosion threatens residences and a private bridge.The proposed stabilization measures are located at two locations along the stream; the two sites are a combined 200 LF. During the DSR it was estimated that gabions would be used to stabilize the streambank. The estimated solicitation issue date for solicitation 12FPC325B0002 is June 2025. Proposals are anticipated to be due at least 30 days from issuance of the solicitation. Site visit information will be posted in the solicitation
