The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking sources to provide maintenance/inspection services and unforeseen repairs for a CAT 315D Excavator.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance and the associated small business size standard is $12,500,000.
The contractor will perform an inspection on a CAT 315D Excavator. Prepare and submit an inspection report documenting the repairs needed. Obtain approval from the Contracting Officer-s Representative (COR) to provide repairs. Performance will be at a contractor provided facility.
After inspection, the contractor shall provide all necessary repair services on the operating pieces of heavy equipment including using OEM CATERPILLAR factory parts only which is a requirement to maintain Caterpillar equipment warranty. The technicians MUST be certified and have the credentials and training necessary to perform the work on Caterpillar equipment. The service company MUST be a certified CATERPILLAR OEM Service provider.
