Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Castle Point Campus VAMC, NY, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract to SCRIPTPRO USA, INC. under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.002 to SCRIPTPRO USA, INC., located at 5828 Reeds Road Mission, KS 66202-2740 for the Eyecon Model 9420 and Eyecon Interface Controller.
This is a follow-on requirement to purchase Eyecon Model 9420 with Installation and one Year of Service that is compatible with the existing system that the Pharmacy Service currently owns and uses as a direct plug-and-play to ensure compatibility and instant access and avoid unnecessary interruptions to the patient. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339113—Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing.
It has been determined that through initial Market Research, only 1 (one) responsible source can provide the required Eyecon Model 9420 and Eyecon Interface Controller. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price single award Delivery Order against SCRIPTPRO USA, INC., 36F79719D0135. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
The notice is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested and capable sources who submit capabilities in support of this requirement are responsible for appropriately marking information if it-s proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided.
Due to the urgency of the need, this requirement will be sole sourced. Any capabilities received in response to this notice shall be considered for future requirements. No requests for capability briefings or telephonic inquiries will be honored. The Government intends to execute this award on or about 02 May 2025.
