- Description : The Department of Veterans Affairs, Networking Contracting Office (NCO 01) located in Newington, CT, intends to enter into a sole source procurement, pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with SOFIE Co., for the following requirement:VA CONNECTICUT HEALTHCARESTATEMENT OF WORKF-18 Florbetaben (NeuraCeq) RadiopharmaceuticalGeneral Description: Neuraceq is a radioactive diagnostic agent indicated for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging of the brain to estimate -amyloid neuritic plaque density in adult patients with cognitive impairment who are being evaluated for Alzheimer s Disease (AD) and other causes of cognitive decline. Radiopharmaceutical preparation and delivery of F-18 Florbetaben (NeuraCeq) doses performed at contractor facility provided by a board-certified radiopharmacist and delivered to the PET/CT Service at VA Connecticut Healthcare located at 950 Campbell Ave., West Haven, CT, building one, sub-ground floor. Deliveries will be made Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm. Personnel assigned by the contractor to perform services covered by this contract shall be licensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. Because of the critical need of these supplies in a timely manner, only vendors within a 60-mile radius of VA Connecticut need to respond to this RFQ.Clinical Duties: Contractor s employees will deliver to the PET/CT Service and give deliveries directly to the PET Technologist on duty. Delivery personnel will be bonded by the contractor.Administration:Contractor will bill on a monthly basis.All services rendered will be itemized by date of service, radiopharmaceutical provided, and unit cost.Security and Confidentiality: Responsible for maintaining Automated Data Processing (ADP) security.Responsible for maintaining patient information in the strictest confidence in accordance with the Privacy Act.Work Hours:
