Description: Scope of the project requires the development of a solution, Atmospheric Research Mission Equipment Case and Handling (ARMECH) to interface the 900 cubic inch Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessels (COPVs) with pre-existing mission equipment onboard the WC-135 aircraft. The ARMECH provides protection to individual COPV?s during transloading or shipping activities; it also acts as the secure, ruggedized, stackable, single person carrying case. This requirement includes a production level technical design package, testing and analysis, prototype production, first article production, and quantity production order.
