The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is releasing an additional Very High-Frequency Omnidirectional Radio Range (VOR) technical drawing in response to industry request. VOR drawing D-5701 is now attached to this announcement. The FAA is not seeking comment or input on this drawing. There are no additional updates to the DVT Sustainment Program at this time. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is releasing the attached responses to industry comments related to the Distance Measuring Equipment (DME), Very High Frequency (VHF) Omnidirectional Radio Range (VOR), and Tactical Air Navigation (TACAN) (DVT) Screening Information Request that was released on May 12, 2023. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is releasing the attached Very High-Frequency Omnidirectional Radio Range (VOR) technical drawings in response to Industry comments, to support the industry-s assessment of the requirements in the draft Screening Information Request (SIR) for the Distance Measuring Equipment (DME), Very High-Frequency Omnidirectional Radio Range (VOR), and Tactical Air Navigation (TACAN) (DVT) Sustainment Contract. The FAA may respond to questions and comments in the final SIR release.
