RE: Project 25Z5AG6 - Roofing Replacement of Administration Building (Amended from original solicitation dated June 26, 2025)
Dear Quoter:
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Texarkana, Texas, intends to issue solicitation 15B51525Q00000021 for the requirement of Project 25Z5AG6 -Emergency Roofing Admin Building located at 4001 Leopard Dr, Texarkana, TX.
The contract type will be Firm-Fixed Price. Due to the urgency and security concerns of this project, the evaluation factors are Capabilities, Past Performance and Price. Capabilities and Past Performance will be rated higher than Price. The Government reserves the right to award this project one responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and requirements and is most advantageous to the Government. Quoters shall insert a time frame for work to begin and expected completion in the bid which will be evaluation and consideration factors for award. Failure to deliver within the established time frames will be considered as Non-Conformance under the contract terms and subject to termination.
The solicitation will be made available on or about July 11, 2025, and will be posted in www.sam.gov in the Contract Opportunities section. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
The anticipated date for receipt of quote is July 28, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. Central Standard Time via e-mail to Tex-ProcurementProp-s@bop.gov, USPS mail or in person.
Site visit is scheduled for July 24, 2025, at 8:00am, contact Matt Burge for scheduling.
Each offeror is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via www.sam.gov. All responsible vendors may submit a proposal which will be considered. The anticipated date of award is July 18, 2025.
