The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) is issuing a Presolicitation Notice for:
MRC Operations and Maintenance Support Services, Laurel, MD.
This synopsis / advanced notice is for commercial services in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.203.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide 24-hour, 7 days a week operational and maintenance support services for all buildings and facilities under the U.S. Food and Drug Administration at the Muirkirk Road Complex (MRC). The tasks to be performed includes routine preventative maintenance of all the equipment and buildings, repair and service of various unplanned and/or emergent non-standard work orders, and seasonal snow and ice removal services. The Contractor shall provide a workforce of fully trained engineers, technicians, tradesmen, support personnel, and management staff to ensure round the clock satisfactory operational performance. All personnel must possess the proper security clearances and educational and technical qualifications to perform their assigned duties upon start of the contract performance. The specific tasks associated with this requirement will be provided in the Statement of Work. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Statement of Work.
