FEMA Region VI is seeking vendors that can install a total of eighty-one (81) total 120 Volt, 20 Amp dedicated circuits in various locations of the Russell Newman Building located at the Federal Emergency Management Russell Numan Building. The installation will be compiled of four (4) separate locations to accommodate workstation/conference room requirements based on current office/furniture setups and support new furniture installs in areas that will be used soon.
The contractor will need to provide a detailed performance work statement to outline the installation requirements. The details will need to include a schedule that dictates accurate planning for the installations that need to be completed in each area. The contractor will need to identify specific needs to complete the job. The Government is interested in the workstation disruptions in for existing workstations where receptacles will be installed, the amount of noise in decibels that will be required to complete the operation, planned power outages to support adding additional circuits, access required to pull electrical wire through the ceilings to drop points, provide a wiring plan to detail where the electric cable is attached and pulled to drop points, provide a detailed schedule on a GANTT chart to show milestones from start to finish, and ensure proper Supervision is onsite throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Ensure all material follow FEMA-s implementation of the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements and outline FEMA-s process for waiving “Buy America” preferences, when necessary. Special facilities, devices, equipment, clothing, and similar items used by the Contractor in the execution of work shall comply with the applicable regulations.
