THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) NOTICE is being issued by the Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). NSWCPD has a requirement to procure Fiberglass Mast Fairings and Support Services. See attached draft statement of work and bullet points below for further details regarding these services/ Accordingly, NSWCPD is requesting information from any and all interested sources in order to make an informed determination regarding procurement strategy.
Possess or are willing to obtain at no cost to the government specialized equipment and tooling for manufacture of marine composite structures including, but not limited to, molds, mandrels, milling machines, surface plates up to 23 ft in length and a paint booth Ability to manufacture new fiberglass composite structures for submarine mast antenna systems up to 23 ft in length Possess or willing to obtain at no cost to the government optical alignment/inspection equipment including levels, scopes, targets. v-blocks Ability to manufacture/supply non-fiberglass components in support of assembly of fiberglass structures Maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ASQ/ANSI/ISO 9001 Ability of provide packaging and shipping services by providing specialized crates/containers capable of accommodating components up to 23 ft in lengthSUBMISSION OF RESPONSES: Respondents shall provide capability statements with specific information regarding their ability to provide the required services to meet the NSWCPD's needs as detailed in the attached draft statement of work. Responding statements are not to exceed ten (10) pages in length. Responses shall be in electronic format (Microsoft Word or PDF preferred). A cover page for the response shall be included.
