Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD) at Point Mugu, CA is seeking qualified vendors to develop and upgrade the Fibre Channel Diagnostic Tool with high-speed data transfer protocol that runs at a multi-gigabit rate with lossless delivery of real-time data over optical fiber or copper cabling.

This is a Sources Sought to determine the availability and technical capability of all prospective businesses. All responsible sources are encouraged to respond.

BACKGROUND

There is currently no existing contract for this requirement. Requests for additional information may be submitted via the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) at http://foia.navair.navy.mil.

REQUIRED CAPABILITIES

This requirement is for the development of the Fibre Channel Diagnostic Tool in support of the Cyber Test and Evaluation (T&E) Division, Code E594000, located at NAWCWD, Point Mugu, CA. The objective is to upgrade the Fibre Channel Diagnostic Tool for software and hardware interface of New Wave V1151 (400-01151-12-00) Switched Mezzanine Card (XMC). This includes the associated upgrade of the Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) firmware and delivery of additional Mezzanine Cards.
Contractor shall be capable of meeting the requirements identified in Attachment 1 - Statement of Work (SOW).
