- Sarasota County is requesting quotes from bidders to provide two (2) UNIMAC Gear Drying Cabinet Dryers and one (1) UNIMAC Gas Tumbler Dryer.The Sarasota County Fire Department aims to provide the highest-quality services for its workforce and this equipment is intended for the drying of firefighting personal protective equipment. The equipment must be in new condition and not repaired or refurbished.The equipment will be delivered to 1805 Apex Rd, Sarasota, FL 34240. The quotes must include all programming to current NFPA standards where applicable, shipping, handling, delivery and installation costs. The installation will be at a later date to be coordinated with the selected vendor. The dryers must be compatible with 240 Volt, 3 Phase electrical service. The vendor should assume two trips to complete delivery, installation and startup. Additionally, the quotes should not include taxes, as Sarasota County is tax-exempt. A tax-exempt number will be provided upon request.
