- The Five Points Arts Center Which Is A Former Uconn Campus, Is A 30,000 Square Foot Facility Built In 1967, That Remains Dependent On Some Of The Originally Installed Heating And Ventilation Systems. Over The Years Modifications And Upgrades Have Been Made Including The Partial Installation Of A Building Management System (Bms), Mini-Splits And Roof Top Units For Air Conditioning. The Goal Of This Project Is To Replace Failed Or Failing Heat And Air Conditioning Units, Exhaust Fan Units, Replace Pneumatic Controlled Radiant Heat With Electronic Thermostats, Remove The Pneumatic Control System, And Install A Building Management System (Bms) That Will Control The Entire Building That Will Facilitate Air Temperature And Energy Efficiency.
