- The Selected CONTRACTOR shall furnish and construct, unless otherwise noted, all necessary permits, labor, equipment, and materials to complete the BTU No. 1 Rehabilitation Project at the Fleming Island Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF). The Fleming Island WWTF is located at 1770 Radar Road, Fleming Island, Florida 32003. The work shall consist of the following but not limited to the Work identified in the Contract Documents.Mobilization/Demobilization, General Requirements, and Bonds and Insurance.Structural repair of Biological Treatment Unit (BTU) No. 1, which includes replacement of the tie rod/tube whaler system, crack repair, spall repair, exposed reinforcing repair, rebuild of damaged concrete surfaces and replacing two anti-vortex baffles.Installation of new (owner-furnished) weir gate at BTU No. 1.Conduct all necessary testing and start-up.Prepare Record Drawings.A detailed summary of Work is provided in the bid documents and drawings. CONTRACTOR is responsible for protecting existing materials, structures, and equipment on-site during construction activities.All materials, methods of construction, and standards must be in accordance with the AUTHORITY-s approved material manual, specs, and details.The AUTHORITY will evaluate the bids and the award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder selected by the AUTHORITY.
