- Description: In response to recovery efforts after hurricanes Irma and Maria, and earthquake events, the Housing Department and URBAN DEVELOPMENT OF THE USA. Block for community development for disaster recovery (CDBG-DR) and the block subsidy program for community development for mitigation (CDBG-MYT) with the purpose of addressing the recovery caused by long-term disasters. The Puerto Rico Housing Department (Housing) was appointed by the Government of Puerto Rico as administrator of this allocation.
