Description:
Request for Proposal (RFP) for Flooring Projects at Crowder College Issued by: Jon Paul, Director of Physical Plant Date: April 10th 2025 Overview: Crowder College seeks qualified contractors for flooring installation in office spaces and dormitory living areas. Work includes removal of existing flooring and installation of new materials per college specifications. Scope of Work: Office Spaces: Remove old flooring. Install commercial-grade flooring (carpet tiles, vinyl, etc.). Dormitory Living Spaces: Remove old flooring. Install durable flooring (carpet, vinyl plank, or tile). Contractor Requirements:  Valid license and insurance.  Experience in educational/residential flooring projects.  Ability to meet project deadlines.  Coordination with Physical Plant for access.  Full clean up of work area after completion. Proposal Requirements:  Detailed cost estimate per area.  Flooring material options and warranties.  Timeline for completion.  Additional charges (e.g., disposal of old flooring).  Proof of insurance and references. Selection Criteria: Bidders will be selected based on the best value, considering factors such as cost, quality of materials, timeline, and contractor experience.
