Description:
This Request for Proposals is being issued by San Francisco Environment Department (SF Environment). SF Environment is seeking proposals from organizations that engage in the transportation, recovery, and redistribution of edible surplus food. The available funding is intended to support driver compensation for work hours dedicated to redistributing surplus food from large businesses and events to San Francisco residents (Proposals). Driver work eligible for funding includes collecting surplus food donations, loading vehicles, driving to delivery locations, and delivering food donations to designated recipients.
