- Description :The Town of Barrington (Town) is seeking sealed Bids for the FOOTE-MAPLE NEIGHBORHOOD RESILIENT STREET TREE PLANTING PROJECT. This project includes the procurement of native trees, and their installation on rights-of-way and in front yards set back from the right-of-way; and preparation for trees to be planted by volunteers in front yards set back from the right-of-way. Bids will be received until 11:00 am, EST on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the office of the Department of Planning, Building & Resilience, Barrington Town Hall, 283 County Rd., Barrington, RI 02806, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. All bids shall be submitted with one (1) original and one (1) copy that are in one sealed envelope, which should read: YOUR COMPANY NAME plainly marked on the exterior of the envelope as well as ”FOOTE-MAPLE NEIGHBORHOOD RESILIENT STREET TREE PLANTING PROJECT”. Bids received prior to the time of opening will be securely kept, unopened. No bids will be accepted via facsimile or email. No Bids will be accepted after the date/time of the bid opening as listed in the advertisement. All bids should be written in ink or typed. If there is a correction with whiteout or crossed out, the bidder must initial the change. Negligence on the part of the bidder in preparing the proposal confers no rights for the withdrawal of the proposal after it is open. A non-mandatory online Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled at 10:00 AM EST on Thursday, July 3, 2025.
