The US Coast Guard and Foreign Military Sales is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) for market research, information, and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), and a formal solicitation is not available at this time.

PURPOSE:
The overall objective of this Sources Sought notice is to identify potential offerors that could provide various spare parts for boats and two (2) prime movers (trucks) that can tow boats of up to 38- and a combined weight of 30,000lbs on their trailers (already at facility), and preparing them for pickup by the Defense Transport System (DTS).
The spare parts and prime movers- characteristics are attached.
Failure to respond or submit sufficiently detailed information may result in a company not being considered a likely offeror when making a decision on whether or how to set aside a solicitation for restricted competition. Regardless of the information submitted, the Government reserves the right to consider any arrangement as determined appropriate for this requirement.
