- AMENDMENT 1: Addendum 1 posted to extend the due date and time of the solicitation to January 6, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. CT. ***THIS IS A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Fax responses and non-electronic responses will NOT be accepted. All responses must be submitted on-line through the SWIFT Supplier Portal before the Event Due Date and Time. Late responses will not be accepted. PURPOSE The purpose of the solicitation is to solicit responses to contract with a vendor to provide two (2) Forensic Laser Systems for the BCA Latent Print Labs to use within their onsite forensic laboratories. This is a re-post of a previous solicitation with updated specifications. At a minimum, the laser system must be a dual wavelength system (green 532nm and blue 455nm), include a 2m corded light guide, and utilize a compact hand controller that has a Deadman-s finger or optional on/off switch, with remote interlock override on the hand controller. The product model desired is a Crime Science DBL8, or an approved equivalent. SUBMITTING QUESTIONS.
