Pre-Solicitation Notice: 127EAW25R0027Project: 3N17.4 ERFO Road RepairsAngeles National Forest
This pre-solicitation notice is issued for informational purposes only to inform industry of an upcoming project requirement that will be solicited. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP). At this time, no solicitation exists; therefore, please do NOT request a copy of the solicitation, bid documents, specifications, or drawings. Responses or proposals are not required at this stage.
The USDA Forest Service Procurement and Property Services, Field Procurement Operations, Southwest Zone, Contract Service Area 6, on behalf of Region 5, is currently preparing a solicitation RFP to provide road repairs to various locations on 3N17.4 Santa Clara Divide Rd on the Angeles National Forest. The existing road will be pulverized, compacted and repaved to maintain current drainage features and flows.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, non-personal services, and all items necessary to perform the project work and associated contract requirements. All work must be performed in strict compliance with the terms, specifications, drawings, and provisions outlined in the contract.
Project LocationThe project location is on the Angeles National Forest, within the Los Angeles Gateway Ranger Districts. The terrain can be relatively flat in a few areas and moderately hilly and steep in others. Soil conditions vary as well, from soft and sandy to compact and extremely rocky. The Supervisor-s office is located at 701 N Santa Anita Ave, Arcadia CA 91016. An exact location will be specified in the solicitation.
The contract duration is anticipated to be 120 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Work is anticipated to start August 2025.The full scope including associated specifications and drawings shall be provided with the issued solicitation RFP ...
