This is a non-personal services contract to provide an x-ray machine and maintenance. The contractor shall provide an x-ray machine and all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the services defined in this PWS except for those items specified as Government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.
The USDB is the only maximum security facility within the Department of Defense. The facility consists of both civilian and military staff members, and more than 430 inmates. All military equipment and bags entering the facility are x-rayed for the possibility of containing weapons and any contraband. Having the ability to x-ray all equipment and bags entering the facility increases staff and inmate safety as well as increasing facility security. - Documents:
