This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The Massachusetts Army National Guard (MAARNG) is seeking a commercial contractor that will provide two 5-day, 4-night, and over-night co-ed adventure summer camp experiences for Massachusetts National Guard (MANG) children and youth (ages 9-15) with qualifying housing and dining facilities (see date sets in Section 1.0 and 1.2) . The camp shall gather military children and youth from around Massachusetts to assist them in making connections and developing a peer group with other military youth through shared adventure experiences in a traditional camp environment, which will require sleeping rooms, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and social-recreational activities. The intent of the camp sessions is to build skills necessary to prepare campers to assume roles as successful adults. In addition, camp provides growth experiences for youth that can benefit them through adulthood in areas such as self-confidence, independence, making friends, and exploring and learning new activities. Additionally, the contractor is expected to be a partner with the MAARNG in continuously improving the quality of programs and service offered to customers as defined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
