This is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing to Contract Specialist Taylor Richter, taylor.richter@va.gov, no later than 02/15/2024 at 12:00 am EST. Telephone inquiries shall not be accepted. The Batavia VA Medical Center (222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020) and Buffalo VA Medical Center (3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215) have a requirement for a contractor to provide lawn spraying treatment services to include lawn/insect control and poison ivy treatments. Contractors shall follow all applicable New York State laws and provide certification. General: Contractor must be registered and licensed by New York State to apply pesticides.A copy of the New York State Pesticide Business Registration must be provided when proposal is submitted. Any personnel performing services must provide a copy of their Commercial Pesticide Applicator from the NYS DEC. The NAICS Code is 561730 Landscaping Services with a Small Business size standard of $9.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Batavia and Buffalo VA Medical Centers.
