NOTICE OF INTENT
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE FIRM FIXED PRICE REQUIREMENT. THIS NOTICE IS UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) PART 6.302-1, ONLY ONE RESPONSIBLE SOURCE AND NO OTHER SUPPLIES OR SERVICES WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

The Defense Health Agency (DHA), Ft Sam Houston, TX intends to issue a sole source award for BCS Pylon SW. The award will be executed as a sole source due to the suite of products supporting critical Department of Defense (DOD) Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) functionality.
BCS Pylon is an automated PPSM compliance tool that assists DHA System administrators, Information System Security Managers (ISSM) and Information System Security Officers (ISSO) with documenting, managing and deploying their PPSM for their networks, systems and applications. This purchase of Pylon End-user license agreement (EULA) is to add greater capability to Siphon that will provide added value to the DHA with PPSM enterprise data correlation, standardized templates for enterprise level systems/applications, automated process that enables users to manage PPS, Whitelist and not for delivery (NFG) registrations using automated compliance monitoring and tracking that minimizes errors and eliminates the need for human compliance validation.
