FY25 Annual Cleaning, Calibration, and Certification of Leica Laser Interferometers & Accessories
NFPC utilizes stringent quality assurance methods to measure both in-process manufacturing and completed parts, utilizing specialized interferometers Leica Handheld Measuring Systems and accessories. The Government currently has five (5) Leica Handheld Measuring Systems and accessories that require annual cleaning, calibration, and certification to meet the requirements of the Navy-s Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) program.
Leica Geosystems manufactures the equipment requiring cleaning, calibration, and certification. Leica has solely designated Hexagon Metrology Inc. as the only source capable of performing these services on their equipment. Because of this specific designation, no other 3rd party vendor is capable of providing the cleaning, calibration and certification services. Failure to procure cleaning, calibration, and certification by Hexagon Metrology shall make the equipment inoperable. - Documents:
