Description
The VA Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO-8) intends to issue a firm-fixed price single-source procurement to Redhawk Group International LLC for a Mobile MRI Trailer to be procured as an emergency lease for the VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The proposed contract is for a lease period of six months from September 26, 2025, through March 25, 2026. There is only one company with the capability to provide the equipment and to be fully operational on or before September 26, 2025. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 334510 with a business size standard of 1,250 and PSC W095.The proposed contract is for a six-month Lease of a Mobile MRI Trailer, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate, with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This is a notice of intent to award a single-source procurement action and is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation package is available. Firms that want to challenge the single source must show clear and convincing evidence of their capability to provide the services/supplies, and that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Those responses are to be submitted via email to CS/CO Email Darrin.Alexander2@va.gov no later than 09/25/2025 at 13:00 and Eastern Time ZoneA determination by the Government not to complete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
