- The City of Boston has identified the need to update its Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan. The City of Boston¿s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is requesting proposals to contract with a qualified vendor to develop an updated plan. The first copy of the plan is due by June 1, 2026. After a review by OEM, a final copy is due by August 28, 2026. The contract will run through December 31, 2026 in order to make any changes deemed necessary by OEM or other approving parties. The budget for this project must not exceed $180,000. OEM reserves the right to extend or amend the contract term, provided that the total contract duration, including any extensions or amendments, shall not exceed three (3) years from the original start date. Any extension or amendment is subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
