Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 08, intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract to TNARA Operations Group Incorporated, a verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), pursuant to the authority of:FAR 6.302-5(b)(6) Authorized or required by statue;15 U.S.C. 657f Veterans Benefits Act of 2003,38 CFR Part 74 Verification regulations for SDVOSBs, andVAAR 819.7008 Sole source awards to verified SDVOSBs.The proposed action is to provide a highly trained and experienced Network Engineer Technician III to maintain the ICN allowing the facility maintenance/police services systems to function on the network. The proposed NAICS code is 541513 Computer Facilities Management Services.This sole source award is being made in accordance with the Veterans First Contracting Program. In accordance with VAAR 819.7008, A contracting officer may award a contract to a Small Business Administration (SBA) verified SDVOSB using other than competitive procedures provided (1) The anticipated award price of the contract (including options) will not exceed $5 million; (2) The requirement is synopsized and the required justification to FAR 6.302-5(c)(2)(ii) will be posted in accordance with FAR part 5; (3) The SDVOSB has been determined to be a responsible contractor with respect to performance; and (4) In the estimation of the contracting officer, contract award can be made at a fair and reasonable price that offers best value to the Government. the SDVOSB has been verified in the Small Business Administration (SBA) Veteran Certification website. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be issued. However; all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency only for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
