NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE-SOURCE:Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Regional Procurement Office East (RPO East), Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole-source contract award to Cummins Sales and Service for preventative maintenance services on back-up power generation system for one year (07/01/2025 to 06/30/2026), with the provision of four (4) option years, at the Batavia VA Medical Center. This agreement shall include all materials, labor, and travel. Contractor shall be an authorized service provider for all equipment listed in section 2 above. The contractor shall also provide on-site service support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, within three (3) hours of initial call from the customer. Cummins Sales and Service is the only known authorized provider in the upstate New York (NY) area for servicing Cummins manufactured generators. This is not a request for competitive quotes, however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time.
