The Canandaigua VA Medical Center (400 Fort Hill Avenue, Canandaigua, NY 14424) has a requirement for a contractor to provide annual and semi-annual kitchen exhaust hood cleaning for one (1) base year with the provision of four (4) option years.
General:
All cleaning and inspections shall be done in accordance with the latest revised edition of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Code 96: “Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations.” The contractor shall provide National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) certification in Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) or be certified by International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning (IKECA) with a certification in Certified Exhaust Cleaning Specialist (CECS).The NAICS Code is 561790 - Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings with a Small Business size standard of $9.0 million.
