Description
NAVSEA intends on awarding a series of modifications under N00024-21-C-5322 on sole source basis for the procurement of Electro-Optical Sensor System (EOSS), MARK (MK) 20 MOD 1 and related equipment, engineering support, spares and provisioned item orders to L3Harris of Northampton, MassachusettsElectro-Optical Sensor System (EOSS), MARK (MK) 20 MOD 1 and related equipment, engineering support, spares and provisioned item orders to L3Harris of Northampton, Massachusetts to procure FY26-FY27 MK 20 EOSS requirements. The EOSS MK 20 MOD 1 consists of an above deck, self-stabilized pedestal (elevation over azimuth orientation) mounting, an electro-optical sensor suite, and below deck equipment enclosures hosting associated equipment.
This contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. L3Harris is the only existing source possessing the requisite knowledge and expertise of the MK 20 EOSS to satisfy the Government-s production requirements within the required schedule.
