- PROJECT TITLE: FY26 - NORTH MYRTLE BEACH OCEAN OUTFALL (17 AVE S) PROJECT LOCATION: NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINADESCRIPTION OF WORK: THE DEEPWATER OCEAN OUTFALL IS A PROJECT TO UPGRADE THE STORMWATER COLLECTION AND CONVEYANCE SYSTEM IN A COASTAL URBAN AREA OF NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA. THIS DEEPWATER OCEAN OUTFALL WILL BE DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED BY THE SAME CONTRACTOR ON ONE DESIGN-BUILD CONTRACT. IT WILL BE COORDINATED IN TANDEM WITH A SEPARATELY CONTRACTED PROJECT TO UPGRADE THE LANDWARD PORTION OF THE STORMWATER SYSTEM THAT WILL CONSOLIDATE AND REROUTE DRAINAGE INLETS AND PIPES ALONG THE STREET AND OTHER OPEN AREAS.
