Description:
Boone County Public Works is requesting bids from Contractors, Companies or Individuals who wish to provide trucks, drivers and equipment for snow removal and de-icing services on County or State Maintained Streets and Roads in unincorporated Boone County for the period of November 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026 with the possibility of four (4), one (1) year extensions. Each contracted truck will be assigned a fixed route and utilized whenever snow removal is necessary. Equipment must meet the specifications outlined in the bid document. Contractors will receive a guaranteed minimum payment for each truck for a four-hour shift per call-out, and a two-hour minimum payment for subsequent shifts if a replacement is required due to maximum hours worked, in compliance with State and Federal Regulations. An annual retrofit for each truck and an hourly rate for work performed will be stipulated. Salt will be supplied by Boone County Public Works. Must have previous snow and ice removal experience with municipalities.
