PROJECT DESCRIPTION: GAOA Forest Wide Toilet Replacement -The intent of this project is to remove and replace SSTs at recreation sites across the Beaverhead Deerlodge National Forest. The work involved with the project includes, but is not limited to, clearing around existing and new sites, removing existing vault toilets, constructing access paths, and installing new vault toilets.This project requires the replacement of a vault toilet, signs, and other recreation site tasks as descripted on the worklist.
PROJECT LOCATION: This project is located on the Beaverhead Deerlodge National Forest in the Dillon, Butte, Wisdom, Pintler and Madison Ranger Districts.Work is estimated to begin around June 1, 2025, and be completed by November 1, 2027. Engineering point of contact is Matthew McCabe, telephone: (406) 499-9011. The magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. All offerors will be required to provide a Bid Bond (20%) with their proposal submission. Performance and Payment Bonds (100% each) will be required of the successful awardee. NAICS 238910 with size standard $19 mil. This project is set aside 100% for small business.NOTE: Contractors are highly encouraged to visit the project site as the road is not maintained for winter conditions and access will be limited when the solicitation is issued.
