Description:
This procurement project entails the printing and delivery of bus books bi-annually for Gold Coast Transit District (GCTD). The contractor must be able to print both Web Offset and Lithographic Offset, along with a bindery facility, or demonstrate the ability to subcontract elements of the project with written commitments from subcontractors. The project involves printing a minimum of 1,500 to a maximum of 30,000 bus books, with an option for GCTD to purchase additional quantities up to 100% of the base award quantity for up to one year from the award date.The contractor will work closely with GCTD's Communications & Marketing Manager to convert files into a desirable format for printing and adhere to a mutually agreed-upon timeline and delivery schedule. Printing specifications include specifics such as final folded size, ink type, paper quality, and finishing methods for the front/back cover, inside pages, and center spread. Delivery is FOB Destination, and the books must be packaged appropriately to prevent damage during transit. The contract will be awarded to the bidder with the lowest overall price and the capability to meet GCTD's printing specifications, as judged by GCTD. Additionally, the contract may include options for renewal for up to two one-year periods.
